熟悉
shú xī
to be familiar with; to know well
cooked through (熟) + heart knows it (悉) = deeply familiar
熟 pairs fire (灬) with a phonetic element (孰) to evoke something thoroughly processed — cooked, ripened, mastered. 悉 adds the heart (心) to a sorting-out phonetic (釆), suggesting a mind that has sifted through something until it knows it completely.
